“MUTE” Proposal
Join Us In Our Fight Against Bullying!

Dear Principal and Staff,

From the beginning of October 2010 - June 2011, Infinity Arts Productions will be bringing to Ontario a sensational, motivational and empowering Musical presentation called MUTE, that speaks strongly against BULLYING!
Bullying has become a wide spread phenomenon, which has filtered from the institutions of the classroom to government halls, from the openness of schoolyard to cyberspace.  Parents are demanding actions, students are begging for its end. It is at a point where if left unchecked or unstopped, it will become a part of the norm and jeopardize the well-being of our future generation.

We are striving to do a nation wide tour to as many schools as possible in order to start a strong campaign against the issue that has plagued our schools for so many years. We currently have dates available at the Georgian College Theatre for various schools to come and view the production. Every school also has the option of having us bring MUTE into their school. If they choose to use that option, we will donate 5% of all the proceeds to that school for that day, however they have to have a minimum of 300 students viewing the presentation.

Here's a synopsis of MUTE:

Mute inspires a story that no matter what or who seeks to put you down, you must be willing to fight for your dreams.  You need to believe that your heart will persevere, in spite of inner battles and conflicts, because in that act of fulfillment you will inspire more than just yourself.

Mute takes us on a journey of young Juliana, a new student with a gifted voice, coming to a new school, hoping to nurture that special gift.  But in a single moment of fate she tragically loses her inspiration.  Unable to cope with her biggest test Juliana loses her will to communicate even to those who care for her most.  If that was not enough, in enters Stacey, the unchallenged queen at Chalkfarm High.  Stacey craves control and attention, and no one dares to challenge her legacy.  No one until the unproven, unintentional new star, Juliana enters the school.  Unknowingly, Juliana becomes a potential threat to Stacey, and according to Stacey, Juliana is now an intruder who must be stopped.
Unable to cope Juliana loses the desire to fulfill a dream and denies her calling.  She is pushed to unshakable despair.  Yet, by the power of true friendship and the instilling words of a loving grandfather, the door of opportunity that lights her potential destiny is opened, and Juliana is the only one who can step through it.  If she does not fulfill her calling, then her silence will be her prison.  For the first time, she alone must find the confidence inside her, be esteemed in the hope supplanted before her, and grab hold of the passion within her. Or forever be confounded by the echoes within, and be doomed as a mute.

However, in ‘Truth’ there is ‘Hope’ in ‘Love’ and somehow these truths find her, and in that one magical moment of revelation everything is revealed!
Our goal is to tour this production to as many schools in Ontario as possible! We already have some Barrie schools booked for 3 separate days before the end of this year and more in the new year! This is a show that can be added to the curriculum in every school. It is suitable and can relate to all ages.

The submission is only $10 per student (Teachers are free). To book, please contact Alinka Angelova using the contact information below.
I have attached two recommendation letters, 2 posters and one approval letter from the Simcoe County school board.

Please note that we will be having a showing of MUTE on Thursday December 16th, 2010, at the Georgian College Theatre in Barrie at 10am. Please feel free to have a representative come and preview the show before bringing it to your school. Just contact us and we will add you to our guest list.

Thank you for taking the time to review our proposal and we hope to hear from you soon!

Sincerely,
Alinka Angelova
